where it all began
Just steps from the Préfecture and the Rhône, on Rue de la Part-Dieu, this is where it all started. In 2022, Hugues brought to life the idea that had been on his mind for years. The very first Copain Comme Canard restaurant – the beginning of a long series (we hope!) – was born in this cozy and welcoming place. The exposed stone walls, comfortable benches, and raw wooden tables make the dining room warm and inviting. On the shelves, the bottles catch the eye of local epicureans and curious tourists who have discovered here a place of pure indulgence.

Between Quai Victor Augagneur and the Bourse du Travail, the Copain Comme Canard restaurant in Lyon’s 3rd arrondissement offers a peaceful terrace, perfect for enjoying the return of sunny days.
